We (Karen, emily, and I) wanted to start this blog to keep you guys updated on our trip to Uganda. We will be leaving August 1st and flying into Entebbe, Uganda. From there we will be taking an 8 hour bus ride to the little village of Gulu. There we will be working with an organization called Soldiers of Christ. We will spending a month here, Ministering to the 120 kids that are apart of this organization. These are children that have been affected by Joseph Kony's lords resistance army.
In these last few years these children have been strongly affected by the terrible influence this man has had on their village.
So our main goal on this trip is to go and show God's overwhelming love to the people in this village. We want to be his hands and feet.
Please be praying for the three of us as we start out on this journey to share Gods love with the people in Africa. Pray that He prepares the hearts of the people, and pray that we would be an encouragement to the staff that have pioneered this ministry.
